We were so glad when the northern lights came to visit us at our home! 

(NB: aurora borealis: a natural electrical phenomenon characterized by the appearance of streamers of reddish or greenish light in the sky, especially near the northern magnetic pole. The effect is caused by the interaction of charged particles from the sun with atoms in the upper atmosphere) 

We had previously missed the few times the aurora borealis had travelled this far south in the UK. So to finally see it was a real treat - especially as the whole family went out to appreciate it together. A truly magical moment, shared by all of us together. Moments like these are both humbling and memorable and worth documenting to ensure they are cemented as pemanent memories.
