Hi
Welcome to the first ever Learn Live Give Newsletter!
We’re so excited to be in touch with you, and look forward to sharing LLG information with you. We understand that your time and attention is precious and so appreciate you taking a moment to look at this information... Thank you so much.
Our plan is to send monthly newsletters highlighting up-coming events, retreats and other musings that might be of interest to you.
Learn Live Give
To begin with, let us briefly explain a little more about Learn Live Give. Andy and I have created this ‘lifestyle’ venture with intentions to…:
> Learn more about wellness, yoga, meditation, philosophy, personal development, culture and the environment;
> Live according to the values we learn about;
> Give the benefits of these experiences to others, in the form of yoga events, retreats, meditations, social media content, blogging, podcasts, volunteering and creative projects (including artwork, books and yoga inspired jewellery).
Mini Half-Day Yoga Retreats – at The Yoga Barn
Emma will be hosting monthly half-day mini-retreats from the Yoga Barn at Laurel Park, Lincolnshire, towards the end of each month. Sessions will combine hatha-flow, somatic movement, yin yoga, restorative yoga, breathing practices and guided meditation, followed by time for herbal teas and delicious cake with like-minded people.
Sound Bath Events, Hosted by Kanti
We plan to host three sound bath sessions a year, all offered from the Yoga Barn, Laurel Park, Lincolnshire. Sessions encourage a deeply mediative experience, using sound vibrations created by hand-crafted gongs and other sacred instruments collected from all over the world.
One-Day Yoga Retreats – Various Locations
Learn, Live Give plan to offer a variety of one-day yoga retreats from a variety of locations, including The Yoga Barn in South Lincolnshire, Milton Keynes/Bedford area, and Market Harborough (Leicestershire). Each event will be based on a specific theme, designed to enhance personal development, health and happiness.
Our first one-day retreat will be held at the Yoga Barn on Saturday 4th January 2025. We will reflect on our experience of 2024, before establishing what we need to recharge and move forwards into the year ahead.
We will be offering a one-day retreat in Milton Keynes on Sunday 30th March, from the Granary, Bedfordshire. This event will focus on the practice of self-care, encouraging a sense of inner-connection and calm.
In April 2025, we’re super excited to be hosting two consecutive one-day retreats at The Roundhouse, near Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The Saturday event is inspired by the five elements; earth, water, fire, air and ether. And then the Sunday event is a silent one-day retreat, providing a rare opportunity to tune inwards without distractions.
Students can attend either day, or combine both events to indulge in a full weekend of practices. The venue has a variety of accommodation options available, including onsite Airbnb rooms and a ‘tiny house’ set beside the neighbouring woodland area.
With so many things going on, we thought it prudent to have a calendar view of all our events and retreats. See our annual calendar for details of additional 1-day retreat dates planned for June (venue TBC), August (at the Yoga Barn), September (in Milton Keynes), and then November and December (at the Yoga Barn).
Learn Live Give are hosting three weekend yoga retreats in 2025.
Friday 16th to Sunday 18th May 2025 at The Roundhouse, near Market Harborough, Leicestershire. A three-day yoga retreat hosted from a beautiful eco-building surrounded by private woodland, with the option of staying an extra night. The retreat includes all yoga sessions, delicious meals and accommodation.
There are just two spaces left!
Friday 6th to Sunday 8th June AND Friday 19th to 21st September 2025 – Both at Fishley Hall, Norfolk. Hosted from a beautifully restored country house, set within a private estate, offering unbeatable peace and tranquillity. The retreat includes all yoga sessions, delicious meals and accommodation. Students can choose to stay an extra night, extending their luxurious stay into the Monday.
In January 2025, we’re heading off to Sri Lanka for a ten-day yoga retreat for a deep-dive into the chakra’s, and we can’t wait!!! The retreat has been fully booked for some time, however, due to personal circumstances, one person is unable to attend. Therefore, we have one space available on a single occupancy basis (though the room has a double bed, so it would be possible for a couple to attend, instead, if required).
In October 2025, there’s an opportunity to join us in Morocco! The six-day retreat will focus on learning how to flow and recharge, encouraging rejuvenation from the inside out. The retreat centre is located 45 minutes from Marrakesh, overlooking the Atlas mountains, so students might like to arrive a day or so earlier to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Moroccan city life before retiring to the peacefulness of Bab Zouina.
In January 2026, we are beyond excited to host a small group retreat in Costa Rica! Students will stay in en-suite luxury cabina’s in a private retreat location, surrounded by jungle foliage and animals, within walking distance of a beach and beautiful waterfall (where you can also swim). The retreat includes all yoga sessions, delicious meals and a cacao ceremony. There are limited spaces available, some of which were already booked before we even made it available on line, so sign up soon to avoid disappointment.
Later in 2026, we plan to retreat to the Andalucian Mountains in Spain – Details to be announced soon.
In 2027, we intend to venture back to the beautiful beaches of Goa, India! We’ll also host a short-haul retreat too - destination yet to be determined, so please get in touch if you have some ideas of where you fancy!?
And finally…
Podcasts, Blogs, and Meditations!!!
Andy and I plan to further develop the Learn Live Give website to include:
• Free meditations;
• Blogs and photos linked to amazing places and inspiring people;
• Information about worthy causes and volunteer opportunities;
• And a podcast, exploring and debating yoga philosophy and spirituality.
With so many choices to consider, we really hope you feel inspired to participate in one or some of our up-coming events or to digest some of our other content. We would love nothing more than to share Learn Live Give with you.
Thank you so much for being part of our journey.
Please feel free to contact us via email if you have any queries, questions or ideas.
And if you know someone else that might be interested in our plans and projects, it would be amazing if you would pass our details on to them. Let’s try to make the world a better place.
We hope to speak with you soon, or see you at one of our events.
Best Wishes
Emma and Andy x
