As part of our new way of life, travelling more, embracing culture and sharing our experiences, we finally found time to travel to a local attraction that we have often recommended to our visitors, but have never previously been to ourselves: Burghley House.


It’s a beautiful and impressive place to visit. The 500 year old house was created by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen…

As part of our new way of life, travelling more, embracing and sharing our experiences, we travelled to a local attraction that we have often intended to visit but have, until now, never found the time. 


So we finally made it to Hamerton Zoo Park. It’s a small zoo, with some very impressive animals, including a few that are the only examples in the UK…

A few days after the muntjac doe and fawn were spotted on-site, we saw this doe. We seriously hope that there is not a negative reason why the fawn is missing. Hopefully this is a different doe, or the fawn was somewhere safe…

We were very lucky to be visited by a Muntjac deer and her baby.

They were first seen around the small children’s climbing frame we have - the fawn was seemingly playing near the slide…

We were so glad when the northern lights came to visit us at our home!

We went to see Deva Premal and her husband, Miten, live at the Union Chapel venue in Islington, London at their kirtan concert.

This diagram is truly incredible. 


It shows the amount of fresh vs salt water on Earth and, amongst other things, illustrates the tiny impact we have on the distribution and use of that water. In some way we dominate and plague the planet… and yet in so many other ways we are relatively insignificant. It’s an interesting mix…
